This paring knife is made from 80CrV2 , a high carbon steel which provides toughness and good edge retention. The etched blade has a forced patina , which will add character to the knife as time goes by.
The handle is hybrid wood, made from stabilised poplar burl with resin , and fixed with carbon fibre pins.
80CrV2 steel can rust unless you maintain it.

DRY WELL AND DEPENDING ON HOW OFTEN THE KNIFE IS USED,
WIPE DOWN WITH A THIN COAT OF OIL , THIS CAN BE FOOD GRADE MINERAL OIL OR OLIVE OIL
